EXEMPTIONS AND PROPERTY RECORDS
In addition to determining your property assessment, the Assessor's Office also implements the paperwork for exemptions, you as a property owner, may be entitled to. These exemptions will provide some relief to the total tax amount due.

Another way to ensure that you are paying only your fair share of the tax burden is to double check the information on your property record card. A sample property record card, with similar information and explanations of the information on it, can be seen by clicking HERE. If you would like a copy of your own property record card, please contact our office at 847-526-2881.
TAXING BODY CONTACTS
The Township Assessor might more accurately be called an appraiser. The Assessor does not levy a tax, but rather places a value on (assesses) all property for tax purposes, appraising it at its fair market value.
If you have any questions regarding taxes and levies, please contact the representatives of the taxing districts. A list of them and a link to their contact information is below in alphabetical order.
